| There are so many options to choose from in Lima. I have to say that Flying Dog Hostels is one of my favorites...anyone else? |

| Hi there, I personally think The Backpacker's family house is one of the best hostels in Lima. It is centrally located in one of the safest and most beautiful areas in Lima and it is 5 minutes from the center of Miraflores and Larcomar Shopping Center, the best shopping in Lima, situated cliffside facing the ocean. | I've been living in Lima for about 16 months now. Amongst a couple, i stayed at The Sunset for about 4 days when looking for my appartment, it's on the Malecon de la Marina (ocean front road) in Miraflores. Great value! It was like 8-9$ for a night for the 'deluxe' room, hehe, the ones with the ocean views! Really nice view in the morning, specially if you get the top floors! They also serve a basic breakfast, not the culinary experience you can get in Peru! The food is awesome in here! The difference between the other hostels in the region of Miraflores is this one is a little more discreet & quiet Directions of the Sunset: Intersection of Malecon de la Marina and Calle del Ejercito Limit Miraflores / San isidro Near the Complejo Desportes de San Isidro & the Repsol gas station Taxi from the airport: I strongly suggest the taxis from within the airport, they charge flat 35-40 soles (40 soles = 13$), it's about 10 soles more than the taxis in front of the airport, but there have been some incidents reported with taxis in Lima, this way you are safer. Enjoy! |

| I have been at Colibri Youth Hostel. Great place! Super save, great location and very clean. People are very friendly and helpful. In Miraflores and everything is in walking distance. It is at Calle Belisario Suarez 543 - Miraflores. Great value for your money |
