Peru

Experience the festivals of Peru all year round. Take a walking route on the Inca Trail , which leads to Machu Picchu, a town sitting at 7,000 feet above sea level with great Inca monuments. Visit the town of Cusco and get a taste of pre-Columbian cultures or see the artifacts at one of the many Peru Museums.

Default Travel Medical Insurance

I have question about travel insurance I'm going to be doing some traveling through South America, Peru, Bolivia and I thought of buying some travel medical insurance in the event something happens. I'm a bit of a risk taker and in my old age becoming more cauious in the event I do some serious damage to myself in a foreign country.

So can anyone give me advice on whether to get medical insurance and who sells travel insurance ? Does it cover things like airlift out of the jungle, medical flights to my homeland, etc.

I can't wait to see Machu Picchu This is one thats on my life list!

Hey JackR!

If you're a risk taker then travel medical insurance is always a good idea. Better safe than sorry, right?

The insurance is bound to cover your needs but it all depends on how much you want to spend. Destination360 has a pretty good breakdown on what to look for when searching for travel insurance. It could definitely explain it much better than I could.

Even better, they've got a tool that allows you to get a quote.
