which are the main airports in the country and what airport would you recommend landing at?

You can arrive at any one of three main airports:

*the airport in Manila, which offers the most flights to the Philippines
*the Macapagal International Airport at the Clark Free Zone, which can be found in Angeles City, and only services a limited amount of international flights.
*Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Cebu Island

Most people prefer to fly into Manila but flights that arrive on Mactan Island are best in my opinion because this airport offers lots of connecting flights to Philippines' smaller airports.

The airport in Manila is the most used airports specially for international flights.

it is really depending what part of the Philippines you are going but if it is on the Luzon region or northern part of the country nothing is more accessible that manila airport or NAIA......but if its on the southern part so you might check if there is an airport in davao,cebu and iloilo but check first if there are international flights on those airports because most international flights are from manila....
