things to see on Mactan Island

Mactan is wonderful island. Lots of Diving, Corals, and Beachs. You will want to visit the beachs.

The only entertainment on Mactan to speak of is The Jungle Restaurant and Entertainment in Maribago.
They have the best Filipino foods with a Filipino Cultural and Variety Show that is so exciting. Fire Dancers, Native Dances, Exibitions of Stick Fighting. Its just a ball. If you are in Mactan you will want to go here. Good Prices also.

Mactan Shrine is good also.

I have been in this island on our educational trip in Cebu City. We have crossed the huge Mactan bridge, and we have visited the legendary Mactan Shrine, where the statue of the first Philippine hero, Lapu-Lapu stands tall. This is also the mark on where the Cebuanos and Portugese fight in a bloody battle on the early 16th century.

Lapu Lapu City Mactan Island, is the home to the majority of the Guitar manufactures in Cebu. Visiting one of the many factories will enable you to actually see how guitars are made.

in Mactan Island you can see beautiful beaches, great diving spots and plenty of snorkeling and diving sites...you can also see the popular monument situated not far from Magellan’s Shrine.

Regarding their cultural activities,chance to view the Philippines’s cultural shows is truly a splendid experience for visitors, especially when the Filipinas wear their colourful costumes,,very awesome..swear!!!!
