hi guys,

I have a question regarding Philippines transportation. What are the popular ways to move around in the Island, and do you think car rental is worth there?

Philippines transportation ranges from Philippines trikes, taxis, buses to rental cars to boats, which are one of the most popular mode of transportation.

Having said this, I would say that the jeepneys (cross between a bus and a jeep) can be found anywhere, can be used to get virtually anywhere on land, and they are cheap.

Regarding Philippines car rental, they can be an ideal way if you want to do your own thing. Companies offering Philippines car rentals can be found at the airport in Manila, and some of these companies are international brands that you may be familiar with.
