what is the Philippines nightlife like and where do you suggest hang in out to experience the best nightlife there?

Also, what are the best clubs in the city?

The Metro Manila area, Angeles City, and the island of Boracay are some of the best places for Philippines nightlife.

Makati City, which can be found in the Metro Manila area, is arguably home to the best bars around, and its where many expatriates and travelers like to grab some drinks.

I would say that some of the best Manila clubs can be found at the EDSA International Entertainment Complex, which is located in the Pasay area, and it's known for its good happy hour deals.

I have lived here for 6 years and been coming to the Philippines for 10 years. I think i have visited most every nightlife spot here. So maybe i can help you... I disagree that Boracay and Angles City is best for nightlife. At one time Angles City was the best. But when the American Base closed there it went downhill very fast. As for Boracay it has best long white sand beaches, but no way any good for nightlife.

I dont know where you are staying so i will give you my choices for both Manila and Cebu. But by far Cebu and Mactan Island is the best by far, hands down for nightlife.

Manila - Makati - Burgos Ave. -- Lot of great bars there
Malate - around the board walk - One famous place is LA Cafe.......
They are no nightlife reviews i know of for Manila....

If you like Cultural and Las Vegas Style Entertainment - Cebu's No.1 Ranked Entertainment Center, The Jungle Restaurant and Entertainment Center is the place for that...

Cebu - Too many to mention... You just need to search it..

Cebu by far offers the most diverse, easy to get to, entertainment and nighlife in The Philippines.
