| I have a Nikon D80 which I love to bits, but recently the quality is really bad. When I upload the pics to my computer and zoom in there are tiny dots. I usually fill a 4gb SD card and then transfer them to my external hard drive, then wipe the SD card clean and put it back in the camera. Could this be the problem? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |

| I don't think that should be the problem. I've been doing that for years without any problems. Having said that, apparently, we're supposed to format the card in your camera first. Also, because of the small sensor of the camera, it could be a high iso or a long exposure used ...also try and clean the lens contact points.
