I´ve been once for Christmas in Poland. As far as I know, Krakow and Zakopane offer grand Cristmas celebrations and especially my Christmas at Krakow was fabulous. A big christmas tree can be seen in the main Square and this square holds a Christmas market, where you can find wide variety of sweets, ornaments, jewellery, traditional Polish handicrafts and delicious chocolates - all at very reasonable prices, really I had a wonderful time. Just vist the Krakow hotels page and book your accomodation in advance.

And Zakopane is surely a calm area to celebrate Cristmas. As well as Christmas, Poland people celebrate the New year with their friends & family in a big way. Hotels and restaurants organise special events and arrange fireworks, so oragnise everything before you go there. If you want to book in advance, then just visit Zakopane hotels page to get more information.

In Poland, Christmas Eve is a very important day and a special traditional stew called 'Bigos' is prepared on this day.The traditional Poland Christmas Eve supper normaly has twelve dishes representing the twelve months of the year, so enjoy the delicious Polish food and have a wonderful Christmas in Poland!

I was in Krakow once in winter, It is beautiful!
I know it wasn't Christmas but it was late November and it was looking like it would be spectacular for Christmas.
I planned my vacation with Martha
They were very helpful and organised the best daytrips!!!!!

Lodz and Poznan have a wide choice of interesting attractions, so you can visit these 2 cities of Poland. Lodz is the second largest Polish city and has several museums, superb restaurants and a thriving nightlife. The Museum of Art, Jewish cemetery, Leopold Kindermann villa and The Juliusz Kindermann’s palace are some of the key attractions. I have visited Lodz twice and my favourite place is the Juliusz Kindermann’s palace. If you are thinking of staying at Lodz then visit Lodz hotels page to find out a nice hotel in Lodz. As well as Lodz Poznan also has wonderful museums and historical places including the Gothic cathedral in Ostrów Tumski, Old market and the Baroque Fara church. If you are a nature lover, then you can visit the 2 zoological gardens, a botanical garden and arboretum, a palm house, and numerous parks and nature reserves. Poznan offers vibrant nightlife and party-goers can enjoy all-night entertainment in every corner of the city. So have a nice stay at Poznan, just visit Poznan hotels page if you need info. about the hotels in Poznan. Best of luck!
