Lisbon has classic Mediterranean climate all year around with brighter hot summers and cool winters. The peak season is from June to September and during this time many people come for golfing holidays, so everything is expensive. As well as May and June, September is the most sun-drenched month. A good month to visit Lisbon will be September, so if you plan your trip in early September then it would be perfect.

The period from June to September is the most crowded in Portugal. The average temperature is above 30 C°. So, it is the best time to rest on the beach under hot sun. But also it is rather sultry, so try to spend this season near Mediterranean. The period from November to March is considered to be rainy season. So, take an umbrella with you ;)
