hi there, we're visiting Faro in Feb and would like to take part in Portugal Carnaval. looking for a hotels in Faro and how to get into Ovar from Faro. Does any have any idea on good Faro hotels and about the Portugal Carnaval in Ovar, if so please advice us. looking for your help soon.

Even though Portugal Carnaval is celebrated throughout Portugal, the most famous areas for Portugal Carnaval are Ovar, Madeira, Torres Vedras and Podence. I have visited Ovar few years back during February and got a chance to see this Portugal Carnaval, the street parades with splendid Portuguese music were really amazing! It's one of the most popular events of Porugal and as far as I saw, music and fun are the important activities of the Portugal Carnaval parades. And even you can find Carnival Balls and little parties in every bar of Ovar and sport clubs. Just stay ay any of the hotels in Faro and visit Ovar, Hotel Monaco and Monte Do Casal are some of the best options, however visit Faro hotels page for more details. The 2009 Portugal Carnaval could be from Feb 21- 24, so book your accommodation in advance and have fun.

that would be nice,we'll be in Faro around 17th Feb, so i think we'll make it.
