The Francis Malbone House is a luxurious bed and breakfast hotel located in the historic district of Newport, RI which is very popular among Rhode Island visitors. Quite expensive hotel but worth to stay. The nearby attractions are historic and famed Newport Mansions, the Redwood Library, the Cliff Walk, biking, Touro Synagogue and strolls along the harbor at sunset. Even you can book the harbor side room which offers you view of the Newport Harbor. If you want to make advance booking then call them on 800-846-0392 and have a wonderful stay:)

hello, I suggest the bus tour is cheaper and comfortable rather than renting a car. There are many tours available such as Grand Mansion bus tour, the Newport Scenic Overview bus tour, combination "Deluxe" tour, or the Land and Sea combination including a harbor cruise on the Viking Queen. During our trip to Newport, we have arranged a bus tour thro' Viking tours (401-847-6921), so just contact them and enquire about the several tour packages.

hi, during our trip, we have stayed in Hyatt hotel and they took us to all Newport attractions in their shuttle bus. The experience was very nice and I bought a maritime oil painting from one of the charming shops in town, it is fabulous. The cliff walk, Gooseberry beach,
Newport Art Museum, Museum of Yachting and some more places were really wonderful and we really enjoyed our trip, hope you too!
