| Newport, Rhode Island is a wonderful city surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and an ideal weekend escape especially for those within driving distance from Maine to New Jersey. As far as I know summer is the great time for weekend getaways, parties, entertaining and even for romance. During weekends there are full of parties, eating and drinking will be going on in bistros and pubs. The downtown area along the Newport harbor has the most of the restaurants and shops making it an easy place to navigate during a weekend away. You can enjoy the 3.5 mile Cliff walk fronting the Mansions and no trip to Newport would be complete without seeing these Mansions, so don't miss it. Also visit the parks and beaches and the 10 mile bike run following Ocean Avenue. Some of the other must see places and things to do in Newport are the International Tennis Museum, the Cliff Walk and Chowder at the Black Pearl. This the perfect time to visit but if you don't like the crowd then avoid your trip in July and August. From May to June, September&October are the ideal months to visit since the weather is good, it’s easier to get around and you don’t have to worry about the must see places because everything is very special in Newport, just go and enjoy all! |

| we had dinner in 22 Bowen's which is located on the waterfront. I ate prime beef and my friend had seafood with a glass of wine, both were nice. We ordered again the brunch menu during weekend and we had our lunch at 2pm, they served Steak and Eggs, Smoked Salmon Benedict and some more. we liked it, hope you too! |
