hiya, where is Slater Mill actually located and has anyone been to it? Can you visit it on a tour? any ideas?

hi there,

The famous Slater Mill rests on the banks of the Blackstone River in downtown Pawtucket, and visiting it is among the top things to do in Rhode Island.

The Slater Mill is a Historic Site but the mill that you will see today is different from the original structure, as it was added onto several times in the 1800s.

The Slater Mill also features a museum which is the Slater Hill Museum, where you can view textile machinery that dates back to the early days, and detailed commentaries provided by costumed narrators.
