|  going to Seychelles this summer My wife and I are considering going to the Seychelles this August holidays, though we're considering the Maldives also. do you think is worth going with unknown tour operators? also, do we really need to hire a car there? |

|  Re: going to Seychelles this summer I've been to Seychelles twice, and my advice to you is to make sure you pick the right hotel. Do avoid the ones with cheap package tourists like Berjaya which can be pretty awful. Go to a smaller hotel resort, which will be more intimate, and you'll have a wonderful experience. Also, you must hire a car to get around Mahe (the main island). Without a car you're really stuck, plus with a car you can try different places for lunch and dinner and visit different beaches too. I also suggest to visit one of the other islands of Seychelles on a tour such as Praslin, which boasts amazing wildlife! |
