| Re: Currency and Banking in Seychelles hi there, The local currency is the Seychelles Rupee (Rs1). There are 100 cents in a Rupee. Rupee note denominations are: Rs100, Rs50, Rs25, Rs10 Rupee coin denominations are Rs5, Rs1 and 50 cents. Exchange rates can be obtained from your own bank, but currently the rate is Rs10 = £1.00 (UK pounds sterling). |
