12 hour lay over in Singapore

I have a 12 hour stop over in Singapore but for my luck or lack of it it'll be throughout the night. any tips or recommendations ? anyone had a layover in Singapore before?

Even though you maybe tired, a 12 hour layover in Singapore is great if you've never been to the country before. There are hotel airports near Shangi Airport but I wouldn't worry too much about sleeping if I was you...I mean you can always sleep later on the plane back home.

The shopping at Shangi airport is the best thing to do and you can honestly shop til you drop. Accommodation-wise, there are also transit rooms available which you can rent by the hour, which will actually work out cheaper than a hotel.
