Skiing in Lake Tahoe

I am looking for a family-oriented ski area in Lake Tahoe, good for snowboarding too, which is perfect for beginners and offers great vies of the lake and the mountains..any suggestions?

I have a couple of suggestions that may fit your bill for skiing in Lake Tahoe:

1) Alpine Meadows, which is located in the next valley south of Squaw Valley. It has a ski school, more than 100 runs, children and adult terrain parks, and a halfpipe.

2) Heavenly Mountain Resort, located on the California-Nevada border. It has many challenging runs and easy runs for kids and beginner adult skiers, and it also has a snowboard park with halfpipe and terrain parks.
You mentioned views on your post, well I think this resort has some of the best views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding hills.

Heavenly would be the best all-around but you can also try Mt. Rose and Slide Mountain on the Reno side of Tahoe or Ski Incline also.
