Things to do in Upington SA

hey there,

We'll be heading to Cape Town in April and I was interested in Upington....what is there to do in Upington SA and is it accessible from Cape?

hi there,

Upington is more of a pit-stop for travelers embarking on a tour of the Kalahari desert or heading off to visit parks and nature preserves such as the Kgalagadi National Park.

In Upington, you can stock up on provisions at the Upington supermarkets and head to Kgalagadi for a safari.

Having said this, you can visit the Kalahari Orange Museum to learn the history of Upington and the surrounding region. And, you could enjoy a game at the Upington Golf Course.

Also, travel to Upington is relatively convenient. There are inexpensive bus routes from Cape Town and other cities.
