|  South Africa Cradle of Mankind We'll be arriving in Johannesburg next week and I am very excited!..i have one last minute thing to ask.. I've added South Africa Cradle of Mankind on our itinerary and I wanted to know if its too far from Johannesburg and can you actually do there? |

|  Re: South Africa Cradle of Mankind hi there, The South Africa Cradle of Mankind is just an hour away from Johannesburg and I would definitley add it to the itinerary. The Cradle of Humankind in Gauteng is surrounded by gorgeous scenery as well as the rich history found on the the caves, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. By the way, tour packages are available at many of the hotels in Johannesburg, and whether you enjoy romance or adventure, this is one of the best attractions. |
