|  Re: popular Myrtle Beach day trips hi there, If you're looking for interesting tours, you should visit some of the South Carolina plantations or gardens closer to Myrtle Beach. For a close day trip from Myrtle Beach, a fun place to visit is Huntington State Park as it is just a few miles north of town. You can check out here the beaches and enjoy a picnic. If interested in history tours, one of the most popular Myrtle Beach day trips is to Greenville. Greenville is easily reached under two hours, and once here, you can explore places like the Museum and Gallery at Bob Jones University and Beattie House. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
