family weekend in Myrtle beach

im wondering if anyone can recommend or suggest on some South Carolina resorts in Myrtle Beach? I am considering Reef and the Dunes Village Resort. This will be our first time to Myrtle Beach as a family and are planning a nice long weekend without much of a budget.

If you're on a budget, Dunes Village Resort might be out of your range. It is a nice resort facing the ocean and has an indoor water park. The only thing is very pricey.

Out of the two, Reef resort will be best if you're on budget. Reef resort isn't far from the Family Kingdom Amusement Park it is the kind of hotel in Myrtle Beach where you can take the kids and not have to worry about keeping everyone entertained and fed.

Also, since it's be your first time in Myrtle Beach, you have to visit Broadway at the Beach with your family. There are tons to do like visiting Ripley's aquarium, and many shops and places to dine like Hard Rock Cafe.

You might want to consider North Myrtle if you have young children. It's more family friendly and not as "wild" as Myrtle Beach. However, if you aren't there around spring break or graduation week, it won't be so bad. North Myrtle is less crowded.
