Default Hilton Head Vacation

my friends and i are planning to head down to Hilton Head Island. We hear it is *the* premiere spot in South Carolina for the summer. we're super stoked but have yet to make any real plans. any suggestions on whether to book a hotel or rent out a vacation rental? any help is much appreciated! oh! also, this is a co-ed type of vacation so multiple rooms necessary. just one couple and 3 singles. looking for end of june or july.

A Hilton Head vacation is a great summer destination! I wish I could head out there this summer! Well regardless, I'm not sure what kind of budget you've got but I'm assuming you're young and looking to save a few bucks here and there so look into a South Carolina vacation rental. If you can spare a few bucks (maybe more than a few) and don't want to share a house then book a a resort! That's always good but my vote is on the vacation rental.

Happy travels!

i agree! you'll probably be spending most of your time out on the beach or doing something else. don't opt for the resort unless you plan to spend a good amount of your vacation at their facilities.

Wink Re: Hilton Head Vacation

I agree with renting a Vacation home rather than booking a hotel. I visited Hilton Head Island for the first time last year and we had a beautiful five bedroom house right on the beach. It was perfect and more economical if everyone pitches in on the cost. We saved alot of money cooking at home and the house and location were so beautiful we hung out at our pool and the beach right in front of our rental. We used Hilton Head Rentals and Golf, the staff was really helpful and we felt we got a great deal.

Hilton Head Island consists of mostly vacation rental homes and condos. There are a few hotels and resorts but a vacation rental is the best for your money. There are plenty of companies to choose from but I highly recommend Hilton Head Rentals and Golf. Call them or check out their website. They have a large assortment of homes and condos right on the beach, some with pools and other facilities.

I know this is a day late and a Dollar short but HH is primarily condo and house rental. I live fairly close to HH and it is great but the secret is out. The traffic can get bad around HH& Bluffton so try off season if you can.
