| Re: skiing in South Dakota hi, I love skiing in South Dakota, even though, it might not always be the first place most people think of for winter skiing vacation. One of the best places to hot the slopes it's in the eastern part of the state in Great Bear Ski Valley in Sioux Falls. This place has snowmaking capabilities for those days when the snow is not as good and you can do anything from downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. |
