clubs and nightlife in Barcelona

A few of us might be going to Barcelona this June, and I thought to get some ideas on the nightlife there and how it compares to Madrid. Are clubs expensive to get in and what districts would you suggest hanging out?

hi there,

The nightlife in Barcelona is one of the best in Spain and ranges from nightclubs to opera shows and live music venues.

Clubs here tend to charge a steep cover charge but you usually get a couple of drinks included so it's not too bad.

Many clubs in Barcelona have a strong house DJ and electronica scene, as well as hard rock, heavy metal and indie rock, are also offered at major Barcelona clubs.

There are several areas where you can go to clubs in Barcelona such as Barri Gotic and La Rambla where you'll find many bars and clubs.
