things to do in Madrid

hey folks!

I am just getting around finishing our itinerary of Spain and I could do with some helpful insights. We'll be staying in Barcelona but we'll want to take a tour of Madrid as well..what things to do in Madrid can you suggest?

hi there,

On one day, you're a bit limited, although you can still get to see much of Madrid. A couple of places you mustn't miss are Museo del Prado and Reina Sofia which showcases amazing contemporary work.

Then, before you leave, you want to also visit one of Madrid's flea-markets in the city for a bit of shopping. The markets happen on Sundays so you may want your day trip to Madrid to be on Sunday. Here, you will be able to get all kinds of cheap souvenirs to take home.
