|  getting around in Madrid hola, we thought to rent a car in Madrid to get around but now Im wondering whether car rental might be too expensive. how do most people get around in Madrid and how to save money on transport? |

|  Re: getting around in Madrid hi marcoantonio, I can safely say that you'll be better off using the Madrid's efficient public transport. Car rental will cost you dear, although it's great if you want to check out nearby cities like Segovia. The subway and buses are the way to go in Madrid, and to make it more affordable purchase a ten-journey Metro Madrid or a Tourist Travel Pass that is good for unlimited journeys during a one to seven-day visit. These tickets are generally good only for Zone A, which is great as most of the city’s major tourist attractions are located in that zone. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
