|  Is Alicante easy to get to from outside Europe? Does anyone know if it's possible to get a direct flight from the US to Alicante in Spain? any thoughts on this? |

| Re: Is Alicante easy to get to from outside Europe? Alicante is relatively easy to travel to domestically as it is connected by bus networks and airports. The closest airport to Alicante is the El Altet international airport, about twelve miles north of the city. Most major European airlines fly to El Altet, however, you won't find any direct flights to Alicante from the states. You will find you will most likely have to connect in a major airport somewhere in Europe before continuing on to Alicante. My best advice is to look for flights to London-Alicante rather than any other European country as London boasts many flights to Alicante and other parts of Spain. |
