Spain

Spain is perfect for the adventurer, wine sipper, and the art connoisseur alike. Plan Barcelona Tours and Day Trips to Vila Olimpica at Poble Nou or the impressive Picasso Museum. Spain also has some of the most popular beaches between Malaga and Gibraltar. Run for your life as the bulls are released every morning in Pamplona.

I couldn't realy say if it is the most famouse place in Spain it's all about taste and what you are looking for. However it is a beutiful Island with lots of variations on what to see.
I don't understand what you mean by "pitty" the east coast is beutiful as is the west coast. the south and north coasts are very touristy and the middle of the Island is verySpanish oldy worldie depends which you want. lots of famous people live here but maily reclusive
hope some of this helps

Hi Glynnis, when were you thinking of going? Summer? Winter (off-season)? That would help us with some suggestions for you.

Spain is full of famous places to visit so it's really hard to say what is *the* most famous place.

I love Mallorca though. Make sure you hire a car so you can explore the inland areas and little bays which are less touristed.

Palma and southwest are great for partying and Alcúdia in the north is great for families.

Wink Great accomodations in the beautiful island of Majorca

I would like to suggest if you intend to travel to the Balearic island

The most exclusive, beautiful and charming hotels in Mallorca. Whether you are looking for the peace and tranquility of our countryside and mountains, the warm welcome of our sunny beaches or shopping options in Palma, Kings of Mallorca offers you* holidays or short trips in boutique hotels in the city of Palma de Mallorca, countryside hotels at rural areas of Mallorca or small luxury beach hotels at incredible locations. Great prices, incredible gastronomy and an unforgettable stay in Mallorca.

Talking Re: Advise on Mallorca

Ca n'Ai is a piece of garden Eden, located in an orange plantation. The King of Spain stays here occasionally, and I know, he is somewhat picky with the places to stay.

- La Residencia is considered the very best hotel on Mallorca.

All these two hotels are historic and very atmospheric. I would say: Each of them is an excellent choice. And the other 29 look equally good.
