Spain

Spain is perfect for the adventurer, wine sipper, and the art connoisseur alike. Plan Barcelona Tours and Day Trips to Vila Olimpica at Poble Nou or the impressive Picasso Museum. Spain also has some of the most popular beaches between Malaga and Gibraltar. Run for your life as the bulls are released every morning in Pamplona.

Default marbella or malaga

New Here and looking for anyone who has advice or info concerning Marbella Spain or Malaga. I had the choice to go to Marbella, but it was changed to Malaga. I'm wanting to know if I should fight for my original agreement to go to Marbella or is Malaga better. I like diving and love the beach so the water is an important issue. Does anyone know which has better beaches or are they equal? Anyone familiar with Dona Lola in Malaga or the Villacana in Marbella and have any information or advice about either? How is the weather in September and are the waters rough that time of year?
Thanks

Default Re: marbella or malaga

Malaga is better because the city is a popular tourist destination, due mainly to its proximity to the Costa del Sol. I have also visited there with my family to see the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. There are very cheap flights to Malaga from countries in Northern Europe, particularly the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany. From Malaga, other cities like Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, and Jaen can be reached by train, bus or car. We tried a walk to the Gibralfaro castle and enjoyed the extensive views over the city. The castle is next to the Alcazaba, which in turn is next to the inner city of Malaga. The cathedral, in the Gręco-Roman style and the ancient Moorish mosque is also very popular to visit.
