Default Re: 7 days in Spain

The weather in Barcelona in December is quite lovely.I was there before Christmas last year. A light jacket gets too warm in the afternoon sunshine, but is cozy to wear at night while walking about.
There is certainly no lack of things to do in this thriving city! I would highly recommend a look around La Sagrada Familia, architect Antonio Gaudi's highly acclaimed masterpiece. Park Guell includes many other very interesting works by Gaudi, and you can find his designs scattered around the city as well. I would also recommend the MNAC art Museum, where you can find divine pieces inside and a phenomenal view of the city from just outside the main doors. You could walk for days through the old Gothic Barrio, admiring ancient architecture abound. It's quite easy to while away an afternoon simply walking the Ramblas, peeking into small shops and cafes, stopping to hear a violinist or guitar player, losing yourself in it all. One more thing not to miss would be Mercta La Boqueria, a world famous fresh food market located right off Las Ramblas. It is a fabulous place to shop if cooking for yourself while there.

I think 7 days are not enough to travel all around Spain.
