| Things to do in the Costa Del Sol This part of Spain is knows as the Coast of sun. It includes includes the city of Malaga and the towns of Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella and Puerto Banús which are also the wealthiest towns, San Pedro de Alcántara, Vélez-Málaga, Nerja, Torrox, Estepona, San Luis de Sabinillas, the community of Sotogrande, San Roque and La Línea de la Concepción. Thousands of tourists flock to this part of Spain every year to bathe in the sun and really unwind. Here are some examples of things to enjoy on the Costa Del Sol :- Tivoli World Amusement Park – This is the biggest amusement park in the Costa del sol. Here you can enjoy the exciting rides and a lot of shows at the different squares, tasting all the gastronomic options in the thematic bars and restaurants, as you enjoy the fabulous park environment. The theatre inside the park seats more than 3000 people. There are several different shows every night, for you to enjoy the enchanting world of Flamenco. The shows are free and there is a genuine Andalucian bar and restaurant. And also, there are free comedy shows in the Western Square which is an authentic reproduction of a western town. Benalmadena Cable Car - Situated right next to Tivoli World, the Benalmadena Cablecar runs to the summit of Monte Calamorro. From the top you can enjoy fantastic views over the Costa del Sol, Sierra Nevada and on clear days of Gibraltar and the North African coast. Each of the cars has space for four people and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. At the top there is a cafeteria with terrace overlooking the coast. Donkey rides, exhibitions of birds of prey and Spanish horse riding exhibitions are included in the price of the ticket. Aqualand Torremolinos - The largest water park on the Costa del Sol, Aqualand covers more than 70,000 square metres and has rides such as the recently installed Boomerang, the only one of its kind on the Costa del Sol, the incredibly exciting Kamikazee Twister, Rapids and the Black Hole. There is also an area for small children, waves pools, lots of grassy areas for those wishing to sunbathe, many restaurants and an 18-hole mini golf course Selwo - Selwo Adventure Park is located just off the main road along the Costa del Sol near Estepona. It is a mix of nature park, safari and adventure park and is unique in Europe. It has a huge wilderness with more than 2,000 animals from all over the world such as elephants, lions, and tigers living in semi-freedom and you can explore this either in 4x4 jeeps or on foot using the overhead walkways. You can slide on a flying fox over a huge lake, try out archery and ride on the back of camels. There is a large aviary with more than 1000 birds and there are exhibitions of birds of prey. Natura Aventura - is an adventure park in San Pedro de la Alantara, 7km from Marbella. It has activities suitable for all ages including rock climbing, rappelling down canyons, kayaking, archery and paintball. There is also a play area for kids and 8 cabins available for over night stays. Golf - Although many sports are catered for this area has become known as the Costa del Golf. There are around 50 top-class courses in the Costa del Sol, the highest concentration in continental Europe. Facilities exist for golfers of all levels with well-tended courses in wonderful settings, including courses designed by some of the all-time greats such as Seve Ballesteros, Gary Player and Tony Jacklin.
