Spain Spain is perfect for the adventurer, wine sipper, and the art connoisseur alike. Plan Barcelona Tours and Day Trips to Vila Olimpica at Poble Nou or the impressive Picasso Museum. Spain also has some of the most popular beaches between Malaga and Gibraltar. Run for your life as the bulls are released every morning in Pamplona.

We missed out on visiting these places on a cruise a couple of years ago because I promised my wife "We can always fly there sometime else". Guess what she now wants to go! Question 1 - what is the weather typically like in November? Question 2 - in January/February (our winter - we live in Canada) Question 3 - is there a 'best' month from a weather point of view? We would certainly prefer not the the HOT summer weather - but are November or Jan/Feb too cold or too wet? All facts and opinions appreciated - Derek

You can take a look at the current weather in each of these places by using the following link. Weather in Spain The weather in November is still relatively warm but not too hot which would suggest this would be a good time for you to go. The average temperature in November is 20 degrees Celsius/ 68 degrees Fahrenheit. In January and February the average temperate is 59 - 64 degrees Fahrenheit. The most popular month for traveling to Spain is usually around July/August as this is when they get their hottest weather with temperatures reaching 100 degrees. However, if you are looking for a cooler break i was advise anywhere between November-March.

Novemeber is the month where the possibility of rain is highest. The average rainfall at this time is 3 inches. In to January and February the chances of rain are less. In January the average rainfall is 2.8 inches... and 2.4 in February. It really can be pot luck with Spain. I know people who have gone there in Jan/Feb and returned raving about the weather and others who have been stuck indoors due to rain. So really it is hard to predict but it would be worth while to keep an eye on the Weather pages as these will give you an up to date forecast.
