Default Burkina Faso

Do you know what I think is a great challenge? To go and work as a volunteer in Burkina Faso and that is exactly what I will be doing next! But now my sister keep talking to me last week about the holidays this summer. I think we have time enough but she really wants to spend at least 2 weeks in Argentina. She couldn’t stop talking about those Buenos Aires vacation rentals and that we had to book fast! I’m still thinking about it, because I’m not sure. Im hoping to get a decision soon... But dont you think its more exciting to do the volunteer work right?

Hi there,

Volunteering is one of the most rewarding experiences out there. Participating in a volunteer program in Africa or anywhere else in the world will offer you the opportunity to help others and make the world a better place to live.

Volunteering is an essential part on your resume and employers often want to know about any volunteering you may have done. Many employers state a preference for applicants with voluntary work experience so it is worth thinking about it.

Also, volunteering will offer you the opportunity in acquiring valuable work experience and putting into use your creative skills. You will also have a cultural exchange, cross-cultural exposure, cultural immersion, make new friends, and much more. So I would suggest to go ahead and make the world a better place!

Hope this helps

Thanks for this exciting encouragement in doing the volunteer work. I cant wait to do the volunteer work because ive read that Burkina Faso is an amazing country - but have for some serious poverty. It's tough living, tough to get around, but incredibly rewarding.
