Spain Spain is perfect for the adventurer, wine sipper, and the art connoisseur alike. Plan Barcelona Tours and Day Trips to Vila Olimpica at Poble Nou or the impressive Picasso Museum. Spain also has some of the most popular beaches between Malaga and Gibraltar. Run for your life as the bulls are released every morning in Pamplona.

Hi All! I am travelling to Spain, probably going to try and do some skiing. Can anybody recommend a good place in Javea like a bed and breakfast? Thanks in Advance! Regards

Check out the Estrella Lodge. They receive great reviews. Not sure when you're going, but they have a deal going in January/February that is only 27 euros for the bed and breakfast plan. They also have half-board and full-board pricing where January and Feb are the cheapest months. Last edited by joe; 01-24-2007 at 10:47 AM. | |

Hi goldeneye! How much are you willing to spend and how long are you staying? If you're going in a group then maybe look into renting a villa. If you need a bit more comfort than the Estrella lodge, look into the Finca Rustica Bed & Breakfast Javea. This one is right by the bay so you'll have great views and lots of amenities.

Thanks for the replies, I think I will check out the Estrella Lodge, I am looking to go hopefully around February/March time, so hopefully I will catch one of the deals, does it tend to be busy at that time of year? Many thanks

Well their website prices out February to actually have some kind of new year's special. And it also appears that March is a low season. The price between the two months isn't much, about 5 euros more in March. Their prices range from what type of room and board you'll require. You'll find it detailed out on their site here.

The nightlife is pretty good. Lots and lots of restaurants/bars are active along the Arenal Beach area, and most stay open nice and late, so I'd just walk around down there your first or second day there and take some mental notes on what's happening that night. It definitely won't be as hopping as it would be in the summer, but there's still fun and good eating to be had. Just don't do there expecting something like Ibiza or anything.

To be honest I am not really looking for an Ibiza, just a nice relaxed nightlife, lively in some places, i'd be happy with a nice meal and quiet bar. Thanks for the info though, Last edited by d360; 02-01-2007 at 06:09 AM.
