popular Colombo attractions

hi guys,

we're visiting India late this year for 20 days and we're planning on visiting a few cities during our vacation.

We'll be basing ourselves in Trivandrum, and we'd like to visit the city of Colombo in Sri-Lanka, what is best way to get there and what popular Colombo attractions can you suggest not missing out?

As far as I know there isn't any ferris from Trivandrum to Colombo. The quickest and cheapest for me is flight from Trivandrum in Kerala to Colombo which takes around 45 minutes.

Once you get to Colombo Sri lanka, some of the most popular Colombo attractions include museums such as the Sapumal Foundation and the Lionel Wendt Memorial Art Center. Both of them feature art work from local artists.

Colombo gardens are also a must visit in the city. Two of the most visited gardens in the city include the Galle Face Green Promenade, where you can enjoy picnics, and the Colombo Zoological Gardens, where you can enjoy elephant rides.
