eating out in Stockholm

im looking for info on eating out customs in Stockholm...how affordable is eating out in Stockholm? and is there a nice mix of restaurants to choose from if you're on a budget?

There are lots of restaurants in Stockholm to choose from, and I'd say overall the dining experience in Stockholm is great, though on the expensive side!

Having said this, it is also possible to find food in the city for lower prices by ordering lightly and trying out the many delis in Stockholm.

One of the most affordable places to eat out on a budget is the Stockholm Bar and Restaurant, and the Ortagarden and the Café Bla Porten.

By the way, Stockholm restaurants will typically add a 12% service charge to your bill to cover the tip, as well as a 21% service tax, so tipping extra is not necessary.
