| With more than dozens of ski resorts, Switzerland offers the best skiing expereince for all types skiiers from beginner to intermediate. Switzerland Skiing is generally known as two types namely downhill skiing & cross-country skiing. Many of my friends like cross-country skiing as it is safer & healthier and comparatively cheaper than downhill skiing, but it is a less popular Switzerland Skiing activity. The most popular ski resorts in Switzerland are Zermatt, Wengen, Crans-Montana, Verbier, St Moritz, Davos and Klosters. I have visited the Zermatt & St Moritz and both of them offer fun-filled atmosphere. The Zermatt is located at the foot of Switzerland's highest and beautiful mountain, the Matterhorn. I really loved the St Moritz ski resort and would like to visit again. It offers the most adventurous Switzerland skiing experience and the intermediate-level skiers enjoy taking a cable car from St. Moritz-Dorf to the top of Piz Corvatsch, almost 3,451m above sea level. It's truely an exciting experience. Most of the of ski resorts in Switzerland are open between December and April and the busiest time of the year is January and February. If you are looking for the cheapest Switzerland Skiing holidays, then plan your trip in late March. Hope this helps!, have a nice Switzerland Skiing vacation :) |

| There are many reorts in switzerland but some of the Best ski resorts in i know are : - Grindelwald: This is one of the few resorts in the Bernese Oberland. - Gstaad/Saanenland: Gstaad is the most elegant pearl in the larger ski region of Saanenland, on the western edge of the Bernese Oberland. - Mürren: One of the most oddly positioned resorts in Switzerland, Mürren sits on a rock ledge high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley of the Bernese Oberland. - St. Moritz: The premier ski and social resort of eastern Switzerland, St. Moritz draws a lot of folks familiar with the art of conspicuous consumption; this is as close as you'll get to Hollywood in Switzerland. I will suggest you to contact some travel agency to know more about more ski resorts. |
