Getting around French Polynesia & Tahiti

hello, hows transportation like to get around Tahiti islands? any ideas?

hi there,

Traveling between islands is done by flights or boat and it's relatively easy and reasonably priced. There are regular and affordable connections between the larger islands by boat and hydroplane which offer unforgettable views.

On some islands there are paved roads, so you can use bus services or car-rental companies. On others there are rough dirt tracks where public transportation is non-existent.

Getting around Moorea or Bora Bora is easy on foot, by bicycle or car rental. Travel between islands is possible with inexpensive flights. I chose to use a travel agent to arrange my trip and it was nice to have all the transfers handled.
