Bora Bora vacations

Hi guys,

We're planning our first Bora Bora vacations and i have a few questions. how do you access the island? and what is there to do in Bora Bora apart from visiting the beaches?

hi there,

To access Bora Bora Island, fly into the international airport in the capital city of Papetee, located on the main island of Tahiti and then take a ferry, helicopter, or small charter plane to the island.

Alternativetly, another option is taking Tahiti cruises that stop at the island.

There is more to do on Bora Bora vacations than lie on the beach. You can enjoy hiking and hike the trail from Vaitape to the top of Mount Pahia.

If you're an inexperienced hiker, I would suggest getting a guide. You can find them in the main harbor of Vaitape costing around $150 a person.
