we are serious about climbing Kilimanjaro but we are overwhelmed by all the trekking operators out there and the prices all these companies charge are all over the board. But who is good? Who is worth it? who do we go with? please help

Yes, climbing Kilimanjaro is on my bucket list also...What you can do to make the best decision is to have a good search on the internet, read every review you can, talk to people you may know that have done what you are planning to do and try to make a sound decision on which trekking operator to use after you have sorted through this mountain of information.

Having said this, I have heard good things about a company called Focus In Africa, which is run and operated by local Tanzanians, so it's worth checking them out.
