things to know before going to Dollywood

We'll be heading to DollyWood next weekend with the kids and we're all up and excited to go! I just wanted to get some tips from any seasoned visitors to Dollywood? any tips?

Dollywood is a cool place to spend a weekend with kids, though if you have small kids remember that the park is big with loads to see and do. Some tips I can give are as follows:

- Don't buy tickets ahead of time, but rather at the door because of unpredictable mountain weather can spoiled your plans.
- Bring lots more money with you over and above the entrance costs, if you plan to buy food and enjoy the activities there.
- Parking costs about $8.
- Bring your own food as food way too expensive inside the park
- Go to Dolywood after 3 pm the day before you really want to do the park. You can get tickets for the next day on the late pass at Dollywood. If you don’t get enough the first day, you can also get a second day pass for $15 or so. You need to do that as you are leaving.
