Wineries in Nashville?

Several friends and I are planning a 2 night stay in Nashville in a couple of weeks. I saw a winery in Portland, Sumner Crest Winery, but would like to visit one closer to Nashville. We will be staying at the Hermitage. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

If you are staying at the Hermitage, the Summer Crest is actually the closest one (around half-hour drive). If you've already seen it then, the the Grinder's Switch Winery and Keg Spring Winery are the closest (70 miles) ones to the Hermitage Nashville(around 1 hour and a half drive).

There are several wonderful wineries with tasting rooms available in and near Nashville. The Long Hollow Winery & Vineyards is located very close that is just 5 mins North of Nashville, but you have to call them in advance and make a reservation. They are open from 9am - 6pm Monday thru Saturday and 12.30pm - 5pm on Sunday. Personalised tours and complimentary wine tasting are offered everyday. The "Red Barn Winery and Vineyards" is located just within 40 mins NE of Nashville and they offer space for special events and private parties including weddings & company meetings. The Tri-Star Vineyards & Winery is located just 46 miles South of Nashville and you can reach within 35-40 mins. They are open from Feb. through Dec. at 10am to 5pm everyday (except Sunday) and 12pm - 5pm Sunday. These 3 wineries are just mins away from Nashville, so book one of the Tennessee car rentals and visit the wineries and have a nice Tennessee tour.
