|  hiking parks in Austin Texas hi, i'm planning to take my two teenage kids for a trip to Austin next month, and I wanted to know hiking parks in Austin Texas or other green areas suitable for a fun stroll. any ideas anyone? |

| Re: hiking parks in Austin Texas hi there, One of the best hiking park in Austin Texas is Lakeshore Park, located on the southern shores of Lady Bird Lake. There are a few miles of hiking trails at the park, and hiking around the lake itself is quite scenic. Also, along the way, you and your kids can rent a kayak on the lake and enjoy lovely views of the area around. More hiking parks in Austin Texas can be found in Barton Creek Wilderness Park, only six miles from downtown Austin. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
