day trips from San Antonio

hello, we'll be going traveling to San Antonio next month for 13 days and we pretty much have our itinerary worked out. The only thing we haven't included are day trips from San Antonio? any suggestions?

hi Galleto,

One of my favourite day trips from San Antonio is the town of Banderas, and it's only 30 minutes drive. You can see impressive 18th century buildings, ranches, and even attend a rodeo events and cowboy concerts.

Banderas is also great for outdoor pursuits such as tubing along the river, or enjoying a kayaking a trip. If you're into fishing, you'll find many lakes throughout the Bandera region that will nicely fit the bill.

The Frontier Times Museum is another attraction you have to visit during your day trip and find out the Old Western way of life back then.
