Most of San Antonio luxury hotels are actually located in the Riverwalk area, which is the best area to stay in, as it's full of resturants, pubs and shops. From here, you can catch the San Antonio trolly which is so cheap and drives around San Antonio. .this is a good way to get around San Antonio.

Attraction-wise, the Riverwalk is an attraction in itself with its beautiful riverbanks, parks, and charming boutique shops.

The Alamo is another attraction which you can see and do the tour in less than an hour. If you love history, you'll enjoy doing the "Mission Trail" in San Antonio, as it is the round trip of the other four missions besides the Alamo.

If you have kids in your group, Sea World and Fiesta Texas will be a must. The younger ones might also like the Hertzberg Circus Museum downtown.
