Texas

The Lone Star state, also known as Texas, holds a rich history with destinations that reflect the past. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, an attraction dedicated to the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Walk the grounds of the battle of the Alamo and experience the independence of Texas. Or travel around the coast to swim at the beach, go fishing, or take a cruise.

Default Best time to visit

Hi. I was wondering when was the best time to visit Texas. I've been wanting to visit for awhile, but I'm afraid it's going to be to hot. When is the best time to go between now and say, September.

If you can go later this month...possibly if the rain stops...it won't be too hot. Typically Texas will start to get hot in May and peak in July. If, you don't mind the 90+ degrees then, *any* time is good. Otherwise, I'd recommend planning toward Septemeber. You can always keep an eye on the Texas Weather Where in Texas are you planning to go?

Thanks for your information. We are a family of two trying to find cheap Flight to Dallas for this September. I am impressed on hearing about the Dallas attractions such as museums, sporting facilities and amphitheaters. On top of everything I am interested to visit Greenville Avenue to get the best shopping experience. Hope we get cheap flight to Dallas!

Well, September is just at the end of summer so prices should be too bad. They tend to hike up during the winter months because the weather cools off. I'm not sure where you're flying from but you may want to look into Southwest Airlines, they have some pretty decent prices. Let us know how your trip goes!
