Texas

The Lone Star state, also known as Texas, holds a rich history with destinations that reflect the past. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, an attraction dedicated to the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Walk the grounds of the battle of the Alamo and experience the independence of Texas. Or travel around the coast to swim at the beach, go fishing, or take a cruise.

Default San Antonio, Texas

Having trouble flying from upper NY to San Antonio...Bad Schedules with USAIR and no JET BLUE. Question how far is Austin from San Antonio, does it make sense to fly to Austin and drive to San Antonio. What is the best hotel in San Antonio....Thanks

Austin is approximately 79 miles from San Antonio and without stops it's about an hour or so to drive.
Hotel Valencia Riverwalk seamlessly combines elements of a sophisticated old world palazzo with eye-catching elements of modern conceptual design. Very nice accomodations, great restaurant and well maintained,it's Warm, romantic, clean and quiet. Just a short walk from the "main attractions" on the River Walk. Highly recommended!! Beautiful! I suggest you take a look here: San Antonio hotels Have a great time!
