Texas

The Lone Star state, also known as Texas, holds a rich history with destinations that reflect the past. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, an attraction dedicated to the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Walk the grounds of the battle of the Alamo and experience the independence of Texas. Or travel around the coast to swim at the beach, go fishing, or take a cruise.

I too feel that the image map of Texas is the only easy and effective way of knowing everything about the cities of Texas. When my sister was moved to Austin may be 12 years back really she felt very hard to know about texas but nowadays you have more options in the internet to know about anything that is what you need to do before you move... however, where would your cousin moving? which city?

Hello,

I moved to Dallas, Texas about 4 years ago. Before moving here I had contacted CAA, which is known as AAA over here. Since I was a member they provided me with a whole bunch of maps, books and my travel route. They really did a great job, they went to the extent of highlighting the exact highways I needed to take from Montreal, Canada to Dallas, Texas.
About things happening in each city, I'm not sure how much you'll be able to get from a map. But it really depends on what you're looking for. What does your cousin do? what hobbies? is he or she an outdoors person? there are a lot of variables to take into account.
I haven't done much travelling within Texas. I went to Houston, I wasn't too crazy about it. I heard Austin is nice, I have yet to go and check it out.

But as for Dallas, well, it's got a bit of everything I guess, but lacks the outdoors part. I'm used snowboarding, camping and hiking. Dallas does not offer that.
