| Texas The Lone Star state, also known as Texas, holds a rich history with destinations that reflect the past. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, an attraction dedicated to the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Walk the grounds of the battle of the Alamo and experience the independence of Texas. Or travel around the coast to swim at the beach, go fishing, or take a cruise. |

| hi Folks, I'm in Calgary Canada and my 16 year old son and I are coming to Dallas for 5 days for some sports and just hanging out together. questions 1. how far is the drive from Downtown Westin to Cowboys stadium? 2.Is the neighbornood fairly safe or should I be concerned at all? 3. has downtown Dallas where are staying have enough to offer us for shopping and people watching on a Friday? 4.how far is the Galleria from where we will be? 5.How far to the soccer stadium from where we are? 6.Any restaurant recommedations? Tex-Mex and Steakhouses-fortunately cost is not an object for us. 7. Any "must" see or do's while we are in Dallas? I really appreciate the help ,any help or advice and I in turn will make sure I payback for any one who posts about Calgary Thank you cheers |
