Bangkok floating market tours

We'll be in Bangkok in Feb next year and would appreciate advice about floating markets to visit, are there particularly good canal tours we can take?...has anyone got a recommendation on Bangkok floating market tours?

One of the most famous floating markets in Bangkok is the Damnoen Saduak floating market, which is lovely, though a bit too commercialised.

If you're really want to get a true feel, you need to visit one of the less touristy ones. For this, you need to head a bit out of Bangkok to places such as Ampawa & Tha Kha floating markets which boast some of the most beautiful canalside floating markets. They're located around an hour'd drive from Bangkok so it can be done as part of a day trip from Bangkok.
